Responsibilities: We're looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Senior Java/Kotlin Engineer to join our team and help design scalable APIs and robust back-end systems. You'll be working within an internationally recognized company known for its leading R&D engineering culture. What You'll Do: * Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure backend services using Java and/or Kotlin * Build and optimize APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) that power web and mobile applications * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-impact solutions * Contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve system design to support performance, reliability, and scalability * Write clean, testable code and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards * Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives * Work with DevOps to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure * Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system reliability and resilience * Stay up to date with emerging technologies and share knowledge with the team to drive technical innovation Qualifications: * Extensive experience in software development * Strong understanding of SDLC and backend architecture principles * Proficiency in Java/Kotlin, Spring ecosystem, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) * Experience with API standards (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) * Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tools * Fluent in English (spoken and written) * Experience with frontend technologies (React, Vue, etc.) * Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail * Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment * Clear communicator and collaborative team player
