				Overview:

The In-Home Services field professionals lead all field operations and thousands of technicians across nearly 100 facilities across the country. Responsibilities:

The Inventory Specialist manages the flow of material and equipment (satellite dishes, our award winning receivers and DVRs and associated hardware) in and out of the warehouse supporting both our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Document the quantity and type of equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in the warehouse and/or on vans, as well as all materials needed for various installations and service calls
* Maintain an accurate physical count of van products, warehouse products, and saleable products on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis
* Receive returned equipment, new inventory, and vendor shipments; stock the inventory in the warehouse; prepare shipments for return to the re-manufacturing department, and record distributed hardware information in the computer tracking system
* Complete daily inventory transactions for all products used, linking them to the proper accounts
* Prepare equipment shipments to remote employees, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery
* Own inventory accuracy performance by identifying, researching, and resolving inventory discrepancies across warehouse and field operations

* Execute and maintain self-audit routines to proactively identify errors and ensure readiness for physical inventory audits

* Analyze inventory variance trends and partner with leadership to implement corrective actions and process improvements

* Serve as a subject matter expert for warehouse operations, supporting technicians and team members in proper inventory handling and accountability

* Train and mentor Inventory Specialists and field employees on inventory processes, standards, and expectations

* Maintain and improve warehouse organization, van layouts, and inventory processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and accuracy across all operations

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

* Proven experience managing inventory with accountability for accuracy, variance, and audit performance
* Experience working in a metric-driven environment with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and operational performance
* Prior experience training, mentoring, or supporting others in operational or warehouse processes preferred

Skills and Qualifications:

* Must possess a valid driver's license in the State you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets DISH's minimum safety standard
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and will be compensated for overtime
* Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and may occasionally be required to lift up to 125 pounds
* Employees must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, and/or a forklift)
* Utilize computer systems and inventory tracking programs to manage and update inventory records efficiently and accurately
* Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and implement solutions in a warehouse or logistics environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine root cause of inventory discrepancies
* Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and maintain high performance standards with minimal supervision
