Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Information Assurance Engineer to support our client's SA&A contract needs. This position will fully remote. Responsibilities: * Lead efforts to remediate system vulnerabilities and close identified Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) * Lead efforts to Update security documentation for BIES systems needed to obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) * Lead efforts to work with project teams to collect evidence and remediate findings * Lead efforts to work with Information Assurance Engineers to access system security posture and remediate vulnerabilities Qualifications: * Bachelor's with 8+ years of information assurance experience (or commensurate experience) * 5+ years of experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) * Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required * IA baseline certification required * Expert proficiency with assessing, documenting, and remediating cyber security vulnerabilities * Clearance required: An active Top Secret clearance with ability to maintain a SCI clearance
