Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior IT Customer Support Professional with an active Secret clearance to provide outstanding support to users, as well as deliver desk-side support, regularly scheduled backups, network storage allocation, and preventative maintenance. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA and will be a fully on-site position.
Responsibilities:
The Customer Support Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring an exceptional service experience. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to handle inquiries efficiently while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
* Supports Microsoft Windows environments, repairs/replaces system peripherals, and maintains configuration management data and documentation.
* Maintains operability of the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
* Troubleshoots and resolves issues with onsite communications equipment.
* Facilitates resolution of network, hardware and software problems.
* Monitors network traffic and optimizes network performance.
* Maintains remote user assistance capabilities.
* Provides technical assistance for relocations and moves.
* Creates, updates, and tracks service call requests.
* Stages and take downs end user workstations and associated equipment.
Qualifications:
* High School with 6 - 9 years IT customer support (or commensurate experience)
* Clearance Required: Active Secret with the ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.
