Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities * Responsible for project management and delivery of geotechnical investigations and analysis for engineering studies for deep and shallow foundations (static , seismic and dynamic machine loadings); * Infrastructure (new and replacements, including sewer and watermains, pipelines, telecommunication towers, highways, bridges, railways); * Slope and earth structure stability, tailings dams, hydrogeology studies, stormwater control facilities, in-situ testing; * Instrumentation, construction inspection and laboratory testing; * You will also play a key role on the engineering team providing leadership and mentoring of the team members; * Prepare Technical proposals and write engineering reports; * Business Development, client liaison and management. Qualifications: What makes you unique * University degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering; * Completion of advanced or specialized university courses in geotechnical engineering and foundation engineering (Masters' degree an asset); * 10+ years of solid Geotechnical engineering experience; * Experience in geotechnical related work such as site investigations, design of deep and shallow foundations, slope stability and on-site review of construction activities (asset); * Current registration with MTO's RAQs for foundations and/or tunneling disciplines an asset; * Registered P.Eng. license with Professional Engineers of Ontario; * Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
