Sr. Finance Analyst - Merchandising & Sales

Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is looking for an engaged Senior Financial Analyst to support the North Central Region Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Finance team based in Northlake, IL. This position requires a financial leader, who will partner with DSD Sales Leadership to provide decision support, drive cost and process improvements, and support our vision "A beverage for every need, available everywhere people shop and consume".

A Senior Finance Analyst plays a crucial role in an organization's finance department, providing advanced financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights to support key decision-making processes. To excel in this role, a Senior Finance Analyst should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, and a deep understanding of finance principles and practices.

As part of the North Central Region DSD Finance team, you will collaborate with the business leaders, as well as finance and cross-functional teams across the company to help analyze and communicate key drivers of the region's financial results. This position is a hybrid role based in Northlake, IL, with in-office work Monday through Wednesday and remote work Thursday and Friday.

What you will do:

* Collaborate closely with the BU Finance team and other functional teams on month end close, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
* Analyze cost of goods sold and operating expenses to assist with actions to drive profit.
* Analyze financial and operational KPIs to drive operational process improvements with positive financial impacts.
* Create clear and concise reporting along with alternatives and recommendations for business partners to facilitate business decision making.
* Maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization to inform and influence.
* Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling.
* Bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude to your responsibilities every day.

Responsibilities:

* BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience is required
* MBA is preferred
* 2-5 years of similar work experience in a finance or accounting role is required
* Financial P&L acumen and experience with problem solving with analytical thinking are required
*  Ability to independently start projects, manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines and follow projects through to completion is required
* SAP, PowerPoint, Access experience, advanced Excel skills are required (e.g., Pivot Tables, V,H,& X Lookups, Ifs, Sum ifs, Index, Match)
* BI and SQL experience is a plus (IBM Planning Analytics, MicroStrategy, SAP BW, etc.)
* Ability to travel to the region's branches 10-15% of the time is required
