Overview: Our investment in the future needs those with an eye on the bottom line, and our Financial organization plays a vital role in supporting our game-changing ideas with creative solutions to complex problems. Team members have the unique opportunity to explore diverse business lines, gaining hands-on experience in various facets of finance, including accounting, audit and supply chain management. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: * Prepare the annual budget and rolling forecasts * Analyze the monthly financial performance and support accounting month-end close activities * Build and maintain weekly and monthly models for key operational and financial performance metrics, including KPI scorecards with a focus on cloud consumption * Create and deliver financial presentations to leadership with recommendations and financial implications of proposed decisions with an emphasis on rightsizing our cloud environments * Leverage understanding of financial modeling, and a hypothesis-based approach to identify, validate and quantify multiyear agreements and long term savings plan commitments * Demonstrate aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations with the ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete results * Track future pending commitments * Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for the business * Perform ad-hoc analysis related to cost-savings opportunities, capital expenditures, and other corporate initiatives * Acts as steward of financial accuracy and data integrity Qualifications: Education and Experience: * Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field * MBA or MS-Finance is a plus but not required * 4+ years of experience in an accounting/finance environment, preferably in the telecom or tech industries Skills and Qualifications: * Advanced skills in MS Excel * Proficiency with financial tools (e.g., Smartview, Onestream) * Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (Accruals, Reversal, GAAP principles, etc.) * Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracy * Strong interpersonal skills, well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials to communicate effectively with senior executives Visa sponsorship not available for this role
