Overview:
Waters has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a Senior Financial Analyst, Incentives, focused on supporting sales and service incentives for the Americas Field Operations Division. The Americas business unit is our largest geography, where we actively compete in diverse, complex markets throughout the US, Canada, and Latin America. We aspire to lead our market in growth every year, through world class customer support and innovation focused on solving important customer needs. The Senior Financial Analyst, Incentives will report to the Americas Manager of Incentives. This position will partner closely with the Americas sales, service and commercial operations organizations, and is a key stakeholder in supporting incentive strategy, compensation plan design, execution and reporting.
Responsibilities:
* Support the quarterly and annual incentives payouts, planning, and design process for the Americas, ensuring timely and accurate payouts
* Partner with Sales, Finance, and Commercial Operations leadership to develop targets and quotas across various business, service, and product lines
* Build and maintain sales compensation plan documents and related materials for plan participants
* Provide analytical support for ad hoc research and other variable pay projects as identified by management
* Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of sales incentive programs through analytics, and recommend alternate options as required to achieve program goals
* Partner with HR, IT, and finance to ensure the right systems design, data availability, and analytics to monitor program effectiveness and report to leadership
Qualifications:
* Three or more years of experience in the sales compensation field in a structured corporate environment preferred
* Strong attention to detail; confident working with complex data and comfortable reconciling information to ensure a high level of accuracy and data integrity
* Demonstrated ability to work well with cross functional teams (Sales, Commercial Leadership, HR, Legal, Finance) and influence, as well as build relationships with these teams
* Proactive, organized and possesses excellent time management skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize and synthesize information quickly and effectively
* Possess critical thinking and change management skills
* Experience with PowerBI preferred
