Overview: This is a provisional appointment. Brief Job Description (essential functions of the job): Under supervision, serves as an instrument person in a field survey party. Responsibilities: * Assists in professional engineering work in the field and in the office. * Performs related work as required. Required to work any emergency as directed by the Commissioner of Public Works. Qualifications: * Applicants must have at least one (1) year of full-time, or equivalent part-time, technical or professional experience in Civil Engineering work in such areas as construction, surveying, hydraulics, design, transportation, structural, sanitary, environmental, drafting, highway, or architecture. * Must have the ability to exercise good judgment and be able to focus on detail as required by the job.
