Responsibilities:
Senior Engineer - Software sought by DISH Network L.L.C. in Plano, TX
Build and manage accounts and services in AWS. Create fault tolerant and scalable solutions. Write infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation. Support cloud-native applications. Co-ordinate with development teams to setup logging for their applications to send logs to centralized logging system logz.io. Manage and upgrade logs shipper (logstash and file beat) to send applications logs to logz.io as per sub accounts. Provision and configure development testing and production environments of different applications on orchestration platforms, Rancher, AWS EKS, ECS by using kubernetes on EC2 instances and fargate by using Docker and terraform. Build and manage linux servers in vmware vsphere environment. Monitor errors and create a custom alert on Artificial intelligence Monitoring tool Dynatrace.
Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Engineering and Technology Management, or closely related field plus 6 years of experience in Professional enterprise development, operations, SRE, platform, and/or infrastructure experience in job offered or similar roles OR Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Engineering and Technology Management, or closely related field plus 4 years of experience in Professional enterprise development, operations, SRE, platform, and/or infrastructure experience in job offered or similar roles. Must have 4 years of work experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
* Core AWS services
* Terraform and CloudFormation scripts/modules
* CI/CD processes
* Linux/Unix administration
* Advanced scripting experience (Perl/Python/Shell)
* Have exposure to large-scale systems support and design
