				Overview:

The Civil/Site Senior Engineer will be a key member of the Civil/Site design team responsible for various aspects of land development projects including site feasibility and conceptual planning, stormwater management, grading, drainage and utility design, erosion and sediment control, permitting, etc. and more. As Senior Engineer, you may also conduct permitting research, due diligence, write specifications and reports. The Senior Engineer will work within AutoCad Civil 3D and alongside the design team managers, and other Disciplines, to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

* Apply broad knowledge of principles and practices in land development.
* Independently evaluate, select and adapt standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
* Review municipal zoning codes and prepare due diligence reports and zoning analysis summaries for client review.
* Prepare complete and technically accurate civil site plans with limited oversight.
* Provide direction to engineers, technicians and administrative staff.
* Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work.
* Attend meetings and present specific components of assignments.
* Work within AutoCAD Civil 3D to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.
* Perform field investigations/ site visits as needed.
* Independently prepare fully compliant stormwater management designs, calculations, and reports for entire projects through approval.
* Perform grading, utility, and stormwater designs, calculations and reports from concept through permitting.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
* Position is perfect for those eager to learn, wanting to find a long-term committed employer, with some experience (including internships) out of college.
* 4-8 years of relevant experience.
* PE preferred.
* Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other related software packages, as applicable.
* Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge and acumen (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite).
* Ability to effectively work as part of a team (i.e.., collaborate, contribute, respect others).
* Ability to learn and apply technical skills and knowledge.
* Demonstrate advanced, general and basic non-routine knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles and practices.
* Demonstrate advanced investigative, analytical and research skills.
* Demonstrate basic speaking skills to communicate general technical ideas, concepts and information to a technical and nontechnical audience.
* Demonstrate advanced technical and nontechnical writing, editing and proofreading skills.
* Demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written for the purpose of client, contractor and co-worker interactions.
* Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
