Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring for an ETL Developer to support our client's contract needs. This position is located in the Washington, DC area and will be a hybrid on-site/remote position. Responsibilities: * Design, document, and implement SAP Data Service jobs to extract, transform, and load data from source systems into reporting data marts/data warehouse in Oracle * Work with Business Analysts and System and Data Architects in the development of new solutions * Support existing SAP Data Services solutions * Ensure documentation is created, maintained and accurate * Ensure best practices are followed during system design and build Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, information systems, engineering, business management or other related technical area with 8+years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills and Experience * 5+ years of proven experience in the design, development and implementation of ETL processes for Data Warehousing, Data Migration projects * 8+ years writing SQL * 5+ years writing Oracle PL/SQL with a minimum 2 year of PL/SQL and an equivalent programming language (i.e T-SQL, Postgres SQL) * 3+ years of SAP Data Services or equivalent ETL tools (i.e. SSIS, DataStage, Informatica) * 5+ years of experience working with relational and dimensional data models * 2+ years of government contracting experience * 2+ years working in an Agile environment * Solid understanding of ETL best practices * Experience gathering and refining requirements, interviewing business users to understand and document data requirements * Attention to detail and highly organized * Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts to customers in a clear and concise manner * Resourceful and creative in solving problems and overcoming obstacles * Must be a well-motivated team player * Clearance Required: Able to acquire and maintain AOUSC Public Trust Preferred Skills and Experience: * 5+ years of experience working in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment
