We're seeking a Senior EDI Analyst to join our dynamic Supply Chain team at St. Luke's Health System and make a lasting impact on our healthcare supply chain. As a Senior EDI Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of optimizing electronic data interchange across our Consolidated Service Center (CSC). You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth integration, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing innovative solutions that streamline workflows and enhance our service delivery. Your expertise will be instrumental in improving our operational efficiencies and supporting the success of critical supply chain initiatives.

What You Can Expect

* EDI Integration & Optimization: Lead and manage the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of EDI processes utilizing GHX.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner closely with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of EDI solutions that support the organization's strategic objectives.
* Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for EDI transactions, resolving issues in a timely manner and ensuring that all data exchanges are accurate and efficient.
* Process Improvement: Analyze existing EDI processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors.
* Compliance & Security: Ensure that all EDI transactions comply with relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, 340B program requirements, and other industry standards.
* Training & Mentorship: Act as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance and training on EDI processes, tools, and best practices.
* Reporting & Documentation: Create detailed reports, dashboards, and documentation related to EDI activities, providing insights and recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement.
* Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external EDI vendors, ensuring smooth communication, issue resolution, and system updates.

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree.
* Five (5) years' relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* Proficiency with GHX.
* Knowledge of or experience with Infor, Tecsys, and/or 340B programs.
* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage complex data issues and provide solutions under tight deadlines.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Proven ability to manage multiple EDI projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Under limited supervision, the Business Systems Analyst Senior provides strategic business analysis services to the business partners. This position works closely with the business to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business strategy, operational roadmap, processes, and services.

* Supports the supply chain leadership by reviewing business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks in Supply Chain and the Consolidated Service Center (CSC). 

* Demonstrates expertise in Information Systems and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans. 

* Provides advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices. 

* Participates and contributes to various cross-functional teams designed to improve workflow within Supply Chain, CSC, and other departments throughout the system for current and future projects in support of implementation.

* Coordinates with health system financial leadership to provide visibility/insight to general ledger accruals, order-to-cash customer transactions, and procure-to-pay vendor transactions.

* Manages customer relationships and expectations by utilizing various methods to communicate updates and findings.

* Collaborates with project sponsors to determine complexity, scope, and vision. Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements in regard to analysis on a project-by-project basis to define impact, outcome criteria, and metrics. May lead projects as assigned.

* Translates conceptual customer asks/needs into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to project team and developers. Interprets results into feasible options and communicates these to business stakeholders. Manages and tracks the status of actionable items throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as required.

* Serves as a liaison between department, Information Health Technology and/or Digital and Analytics to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement, or implementation. 

* May serve as a mentor to lower-level staff. 

* Performs other duties as assigned.
