Responsibilities:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 15+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 13 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications:

As the Senior Deputy Member of our technical staff, you'll apply advanced principles of engineering and management to solve complex problems in the development of technology. As a leader, you'll oversee and manage design and development processes as they relate to the engineering of products utilizing principles and technology of physics, mathematics, engineering, and related physical sciences. It's engineering that sets the standard for the world. Are you ready?

In this role, you'll lead Space Ground Systems A.I. engineering efforts:

* Conduct Space Ground A.I. research to identify leading edge and breakaway technologies
* Research and report important shifts in the Space Ground A.I. technological landscape & implications to the company
* Actively expose high level risks & communicates the Space Ground A.I. risk trade space & mitigation strategies to team
* Collaborate with management across the company on research and development relevant to long-term Space Ground A.I. objectives
* Be instrumental in establishing Space Ground A.I. technology & process direction for the technical community

You'll also support the larger portfolio in areas such as:

* Platform as a Service
* Cloud Architecture
* Model-Based Systems Engineering
* Proposals, bidding, and estimating

What you bring to the table:
* A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field and is required plus a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in engineering or a related technical field plus a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills
* Recognized as an expert in your field
* Ability to ability to anticipate technology, process, and skill needs
