				Overview:

3rd Level Sales Management - directly managing Sales Directors. In rare cases, may manage Sales Managers with exceptionally large responsibilities or potential. Attains results within Zebra  management policies and practices. Personal objectives typically defined as a "roll-up" of all sales resources reporting to the Senior Sales Director. Generally considered an excellent  coach, helping  others attain sales success. Understands own product portfolio extremely well and knows how to win relative to competition; teaches others same. As with all management, embodies One  Zebra ahead of personal achievements. Establishes operational objectives and sales plans, and delegates assignments to subordinates, including Sales Directors and Managers. Involved in developing and executing policies that affect immediate operations and may also have region/company-wide effect. Establishes and manages budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Exercises full supervision in terms of costs, methods and staffing. Proven strategic thinker that makes go-to-market strategy and operating practice changes that get results. Considered an industry expert by employees, peers, customers, and competitors. Acts as a resource to business unit general management; responsible for developing a portion of the business unit annual and long term plans. Proven overall management success; next generation of business unit general management / executive. As part of business unit management, responsible for developing a major portion of the business unit annual and long term plans and overall sales strategies. Role typically requires a minimum direct sales quota consistent with regional/territory goals (e.g., $150 million in the U.S.).

*Position will be based out of Sao Paulo, Brazil- ideal candidate will be local to area*

* Sales Skills - Creates the environment for team sales success today while developing new strategies for future growth
* Managerial Skills - Develops strategies for improving Zebra performance across businesses; General Manager view and Executive potential
* Business Acumen - Defines business models in a variety of  situations and industries that have a transformational impact on customers and Zebra; breakthrough ideas
* Market/customer Knowledge - Defines market segmentation for Zebra today and into the future to ensure appropriate focus and Zebra long term success

Solution Complexity/Strategic Thinking

* Nature of Problems Solved - Solves complex problems which require unique solutions (e.g. integration of multiple technologies across Zebra businesses) -
* Role in Addressing Problems - Anticipates and resolves problems, provides leadership in preventing future problems
* Complexity of Solutions - Very high complexity with unique solutions required (no precedent); often multi-region implications

Freedom to Act

* Level of Guidance - Establishes course of action for major segment of business; provides input into corporate strategic direction; accountable for decisions that affect Zebra results significantly; advises senior management based on advanced expert knowledge.
* Takes Direction From - Business Unit Leader and Zebra Senior Leadership Team

Customer Interface

* Role - Typically directs Sales Directors or manages sales team for Zebra largest organization
* Level of Customer Contact - C-Suite (CEO, CFO, CIO, etc.) in companies or government leaders
* Main Level of Interaction - Responsible for defining the customer interface organization for a business or large segment; works with industry/customer leaders
* Required Knowledge of Customer - Likely future industry outcomes; customer strategic priorities for success in uncertain landscape

Accountability

* Business and Financial Impact - Owns a major portion of a business P  responsible for both revenue generation, gross margin, sales efficiency, and cost containment in both current year and long term
* Relative Size and Scope - Large impact on Zebra (3-5% minimum) for teams managed
* Types of Projects - Most complex deals or huge volume (see quota) where strategic projects will drive success
* Strategic Impact for Zebra - Very high in near, mid and long-term

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Ideally 15+ years Experience leading Sales Team(and Sales leaders) Solutions Complexity/Strategic Thinking
* Must speak fluent English

Preferred Qualifications:

* Advanced degree or equivalent experience
* MBA or equivalent.
* 15+ years of applicable work experience (Sales Leadership- leader of leaders experience. Owner of portion of P &L, manage complex deals with large impact)
* Creates technical strategies; industry-wide technical solutions expert
* Creates the environment for team sales success today while developing new strategies for future growth
* Develop strategies for improving Zebra performance across businesses, General Manager view and Executive potential
* Experience in the technology industry sector.
* Track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling high-performing teams.
