Reporting to the VP, Global Business Excellence, you'll partner directly with Avalara's executive leadership team to take bold ideas from strategy to execution. You'll lead a global team of transformation leaders, automation specialists, and analysts, turning complex challenges into scalable solutions that deliver measurable impact for customers, partners, and the business. If you thrive in complexity, move fast, and know how to inspire teams while delivering results, this role is built for you. #LI-Remote Responsibilities: * Lead enterprise-wide business transformation programs that align Avalara's strategic goals with executional outcomes. * Translate Avalara's priorities into actionable initiatives with measurable ROI. * Partner with senior executives to embed AI, automation, and analytics into global operations. * Lead and inspire a 60-75 person team of transformation leaders, automation specialists, and analysts across the U.S., UK, and India. * Deliver executive-level storytelling through data, influencing decisions at VP and C-suite levels. * Provide governance, metrics, and transparency on transformation outcomes. Qualifications: * 15+ years in business transformation or strategy leadership. * Proven success leading strategic change at scale in SaaS, FinTech, or global enterprises. * Strong executive presence and ability to influence at C-level. * Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, and automation preferred but not required. * Strong analytical fluency with KPIs, metrics, and business intelligence platforms. Pay Range Details The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. The ideal target range for this position is $200k - $250k. Colorado $185,800-$306,600 [annually] Washington $205,400-$338,800 [annually] California $185,800-$371,100 [annually] NYC $205,400-$371,100 [annually] The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. successful candidate's actual salary/wage may be based on various factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and the employee's role.
