The project:
Our goal is to benchmark AI/ML cluster fabric with realistic workloads which typically require investments into compute systems with GPUs and RDMA NICs that are costly and time-consuming to build and operate. To achive this goal, we're creating a product that is able emulate realistic collective communication that is able to test AI/ML fabrics both for conformance and performance.
The Team:
* Was founded in order to fill a gap on the AI/ML data center workloads testing market.
* Currently has 25 members and it's part of a bigger team spread accros multiple geos.
* We live in the virtual environment, working in Agile, meeting daily to plan and track our objectives.
* We are working directly with our partners as well as the end customer in a dynamic fashion.
* We are always designing and developing new features, as well as resolving customer's enquiries, and working closely with other teams.
In this role you will become proficient in:
* CI/CD architecture development
* Latest technologies in pipeline design
* Pipeline performance optimizations
* AI/ML related technologies and techniques
Responsibilities:
* Analyze CI/CD requirements coming from the team or identify the gaps in the process
* Design and implement the appropriate system to allow the team to successfully build and test their products, such as implementing a CI/CD build system based on Gitlab that will automatically scale up or down, either on prem or using cloud resources. The output could be virtual machines, docker images and others.
* Investigate potential problems and fine tune for optimal performance
* Improve the DevExperience for the entire team
* Maintain and optimize the build infrastructure
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
* Min. 5+ years of proven experience as DevOps Engineer.
* Working experience with Gitlab, Docker, AWS services.
* Experienced with CI/CD pipeline automation (Gitlab)
* Strong skills on large system design, maintenance and optimization
* Strong knowledge of Python, bash, make programming
* Advanced Linux knowledge (for troubleshooting and debug purposes)
* Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
* Prove to be performance driven and having a proactive attitude
* Effectively collaborate with peers
* Good communication skills
* Bachelor's Degree in a computer science or engineering background
Bonus skills (not mandatory but appreciated):
* Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently
* Must be a creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
* L2-7 protocols expertise (good understanding of networking protocols)
* Ability to facilitate meetings and action plans
