Responsibilities:
We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual to join the Delivery and Release Management team as a Senior Program Manager for DISH TV and Sling TV. The Delivery Management team is responsible for ensuring overall cross-functional alignment, priority and communication, tracking deliverables and project milestones for cross-functional teams and managing readiness for DISH TV and Sling TV product releases.
The Senior Program Manager will be at the center of cross-functional coordination, connecting Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing and other stakeholders, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery to customers. This role will lead cross-functional project delivery and release initiatives for DISH TV and Sling TV. They will coordinate with external partners to manage timelines and expectations. The role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and a high level of technical understanding to support fast-paced, complex initiatives. This is an in-office position, working out of our Englewood, CO office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of new product features
* Maintain clear, prioritized delivery backlogs; partner with Product Managers to ensure backlog items are well-defined and actionable
* Identify, manage and resolve inter-team dependencies to ensure timely delivery of complete features
* Develop and manage comprehensive delivery timelines that align with broader product and business goals; proactively advocate for realistic timelines, balancing scope, resources and risks
* Monitor process, verify deliverables and ensure all outputs meet quality standards and delivery criteria before release
* Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including status summaries, key milestones, risks and mitigation plans; escalate issues with clarity and propose alternate solutions when appropriate
* Define and assign clear task ownership, monitoring progress and ensure timely execution through accountability
* Ensure thorough documentation, communication and tracking of all feature-related issues in relevant systems, working with teams to resolve any issues
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred with 4-6 years of similar professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated ability to independently reprioritize work to meet goals and deadlines
* Self-starter with strong data management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple requests, working both independently and as part of a team
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization to present information in a professional and effective manner
* PMP or Agile certifications are a plus
* Experience in Jira, Confluence and Airtable is a plus
