Responsibilities:

DISH Wireless is in search of a Senior Data Analyst that can help us make data-driven decisions to change the way the world communicates. This position will work as part of our Retail Wireless team responsible for input and output of large amounts of data.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build dashboards, tools, and reports to help functional departments and executives keep a pulse on their areas of business
* Develop key insights from data and communicate the findings to key stakeholders to help make data-driven decisions
* Validate large amounts of data to ensure data quality in a variety of different ways depending on the data and its consumer
* Drive conversations with partners on efficient data processes while helping them keep their data as clean as possible
* Utilize automation to create efficiencies and reduce resource allocation for routine tasks and procedures
* Key technologies may include Python, Excel, SQL, Tableau and Excel

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field preferred
* Two years of experience using Tableau and SQL-like query language and table design
* 4+ years of experience with Excel using advanced functions and macros (VBA)

Skills and Qualifications:

* Strong communication skills to work with partners internal and external to manage data flow into our infrastructure
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide clear and concise communication with a wide audience of internal departments
* Proven ability to quickly learn new concepts, processes, software, and development ideas
