				Responsibilities:

GFT is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services team in the Seattle area!

What you'll be challenged to do:

This position is responsible for reporting directly to construction sites to observe and document contractor's work conforms to contract requirements, maintaining project files/documentation, compiling and calculating quantities of work performed to be used in calculating monthly contractor payments, and interacting with clients on a regular basis.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

* Prepare Daily Reports
* Prepare Project Progress Reports
* Monitor Quality Control Testing
* Measure Quantities
* Monitor Contractor Progress
* Assist with Payment Applications and Change Orders
* Assist with Project Filing System
* Perform Constructability Reviews
* Address Technical issues in the field
* Inspection Team Leader

Qualifications:

What you will bring to our firm: 

* 10+ years of experience
* Associates Degree or 2+ years of continued higher education preferred
* Inspection Team Leader (as directed).
* Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
* OSHA Safety Training
* Good communication skills
* Must possess a driver's license to fulfill the essential functions of the position

What we prefer you bring: 

* Preferred BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
* Preferred Registered Professional Engineer
* NICET IV Certification Preferred
* ACI Field Testing Certification Preferred

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $160,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
