Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for Senior Computer User Support Specialist position for our US Coast Guard contract. This position is located in New London, CT and is on-site.
Responsibilities:
A computer user support specialist needs a combination of strong technical skills, such as hardware and software knowledge, network basics, and troubleshooting, along with essential soft skills like communication, problem-solving, and customer service. Other crucial abilities include attention to detail, time management, and adaptability to keep up with evolving technology.
For our eVIP Program, the Specialist needs to be ready to assist the Admiral and his immediate team in his office with all IT related issues ensuring they are back up and operational ASAP. This would include all computer hardware and software issues, and issues with mobility (iPhone and iPad). The computer user support specialist works with unclass systems; however, if an issue comes up with classified systems, they can escalate the ticket to the SIPR Helpdesk Lead.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
* Knowledge of Service Now Ticketing System.
* Security+
* Knowledge of M365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, One Drive, Teams, etc). Adobe Acrobat, Internet connectivity. Knowledge of User Profiles, Imaging hardware, Printing, Remote Desktop, Web Mail, Active Directory Users and Computers.
* Experience with Remote Tools: Virtual Private Network (VPN) and MANTA.
* Clearance Required: Secret clearance required
