Responsibilities:

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with a strong background in bridge construction supervision to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

We envisage success in this role to include:

* Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients to ensure that project expectations and contractual requirements are consistently met.

* Oversee the delivery of Design and Construction Management services throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

* Lead and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

* Manage the development and maintenance of comprehensive project schedules, covering procurement, planning, design, and construction phases.

* Provide leadership in the design, structural analysis, and modeling of bridges and related civil infrastructure to ensure safety, stability, and performance under various load conditions (e.g., seismic, wind, traffic loads).

* Conduct detailed structural calculations, simulations, and peer reviews to validate design integrity and regulatory compliance.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration and coordination of structural systems.

* Support construction teams by reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and addressing design-related challenges during execution.

* Participate in cost estimation and value engineering exercises, identifying cost-effective solutions while upholding structural safety and quality standards.

* Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to present design solutions, manage expectations, and address any project-related concerns.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12+ years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.

Proven hands-on experience in infrastructure projects that include bridge works within the UAE is a key requirement.
