Responsibilities:

* Follow applicable procedures and standards to diagnose and troubleshoot cathodic protection and AC mitigation system deficiencies, conduct various types of field surveys and assessments, and complete installations
* Maintain detailed field notes and provide field level assessment to inspection results and recommendations
* Sketch various CP system components and electrical schematics
* Provide technical assistance to other divisions within the company
* Conduct and/or supervise various field tests (ex. structure potential, CIPS, AC, DCVG, ACVG, ACCA, line locating, soil resistivity, current requirements, etc.) under minimal support from senior team member
* Organize and review data gathered, prepare charts and tables
* Field test equipment, software and testing procedures; log results and communicate to development team(s); provide issue resolution recommendations to development team(s)
* Contribute to internal initiatives as required
* Provide training and mentorship to junior staff
* Contribute to the continual improvement quality process
* Conform to corporate, client, and government operating and safety procedures
* Develop trusted business relationships with existing and prospective clients
* Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* 2+ years in pipeline integrity or oil and gas industry1+ years in cathodic protection or AC mitigation
* NACE CP2 certification
* Rectifier training or experience
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
