Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Business Insights Advisor to join our team. This role will be responsible for retrieving, analysing, and summarising critical business, operational, customer, and economic data to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leveraging data analytics tools and platforms to optimise business effectiveness, develop data intelligence, and predict business outcomes. As a Senior Advisor, you will lead the interpretation of trends and patterns, providing actionable insights that support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse large datasets to extract actionable insights that support strategic business decisions and process improvements.
* Prepare and deliver ongoing reports, dashboards, heat maps, and other visualisations to present complex data in a clear and compelling manner using tools such as Power BI, Domo, Looker, Qlik, Tableau, and SixSense.
* Identify, interpret, and communicate trends, patterns, and anomalies across business and operational data, providing strategic recommendations to optimise performance.
* Evaluate and monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data sources.
* Work closely with business operations, finance, sales, marketing, and other teams to understand key performance indicators (KPIs), data needs, and business objectives.
* Apply statistical methods, data modelling, and advanced analytics to forecast business outcomes and uncover opportunities for improvement.
* Lead and support analytical projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timelines, stakeholder requirements, and quality standards are met.
* Have a solid understanding of service delivery processes, process design, and process improvement methodologies. Experience with revenue recognition, invoicing, and services lifecycle is essential.
* Deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership to enhance business operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
* Utilise your cross-functional expertise to proactively address and resolve complex business challenges with significant impact.
Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in business analytics, data science, or a related field.
* Proven ability to manage and deliver data-centric projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
* Hands-on experience with Power BI and other major visualisation platforms.
* Strong knowledge of data quality analysis and governance practices.
* Solid understanding of service processes, revenue recognition, and invoicing cycles.
* Track record of designing and improving business processes through data insights.
* Advanced analytical and statistical modelling skills.
* Ability to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
