				Overview:

Colliers Engineering & Design is looking to expand our Bridges & Structures team in Ohio by adding Senior Bridge Project Engineers with prior ODOT experience! Candidates may be located anywhere in the state of Ohio. 

Our bridge experts partner with our clients to understand project objectives, while formulating solutions that result in successful outcomes that are safe, efficient, economical and sensitive to the environment. This highly skilled team of professionals offers a full range of bridge services from scoping, planning and preliminary engineering through final design, for small to large scale bridges.

Responsibilities:

* Develop advanced engineering designs and technical data with precision and completeness.
* Review and ensure conformity and quality assurance of complete project documents.
* Implement new and improved techniques and processes for engineering plan design.
* Analyze and interpret data, formulate and solve problems.
* Prepare or review scopes of work and budgets, and schedule assignments.
* Offer guidance and direction to engineers, technicians, and administrative staff on project tasks and objectives.
* Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work.
* Work within AutoCAD Civil 3D and alongside the design team managers to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.
* Perform field investigations/ site visits as needed.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering is required.
* 7+ years of bridge engineering experience is required.
* MicroStation and OpenRoads experience.
* Ability to mentor and coach junior team members.
* Civil 3D experience is a plus.
* Registered as a PE is preferred.
* Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
