Overview: GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Senior BI Developer to work in a hybrid capacity, with 3 days on-site per week at the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) in Washington, D.C. This position requires candidates to reside within commuting distance of the DMV region and offers an opportunity to contribute to high-impact financial and reporting systems in a fast-paced public sector environment. Responsibilities: * Monitor nightly jobs and ensure overall system health and performance. * Design, develop, and optimize BI solutions including dashboards, cubes, and reports using Cognos and Tableau. * Create and maintain ETL processes using Informatica 10. * Provide technical support for OCFO's Budget Book reporting systems and .NET applications. * Maintain and enhance analytic dashboards and reporting solutions. * Work closely with end users and stakeholders to gather business requirements and deliver ad-hoc reports. * Support internal and external OCIO-facing reporting websites. * Coordinate with appropriate teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate issues that impact service or performance. * Contribute to capacity planning and recommend system improvements. * Provide ongoing support for reporting integrations related to new system implementations. * Ensure documentation and processes align with public sector reporting and compliance standards. Qualifications: * 10+ years of experience in modeling enterprise-wide data warehouses. * 10+ years of experience with Cognos BI applications and Cognos 11.7, including Framework Manager. * 10+ years of experience working with public sector financial systems. * 10+ years of experience with Informatica 10 for ETL development. * 10+ years of experience in .NET/ASP and Visual Basic development. * 5+ years of experience as a Tableau developer and administrator (Tableau 10+ certified preferred). * Strong experience in supporting Microsoft SQL and Oracle 12c RAC databases. * Proficiency with development tools such as Visual Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, and Oracle Data Modeler. * Experience supporting Windows Server 2016 and IIS environments.
