Responsibilities:
GFT is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager with an Aviation Focus to join our Architectural Studio in Dallas, TX, Houston TX, or Miami, FL! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our office.

What you'll be challenged to do:
As a Senior Architectural Project Manager you will need to be a motivated aviation market leader with a positive attitude to serve Aviation clients, lead diverse design teams, and drive quality production and prompt project delivery. You will be challenged to produce high quality work in a fast-paced and intellectually engaging environment.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Be a client facing representative for Gannett Fleming TranSystems Architecture, project a positive attitude and be able to gain our client's trust.
* Generate project scopes, schedules, and budgets and be responsible for achieving and/or exceeding our performance in these areas.
* Lead complex projects and diverse project teams to serve clients with the aim of deepening our relationships.
* Leading through example by driving high-quality production of construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, estimates, and more.
* Serve as the primary contact with aviation clients on key projects.
* Ensure that project quality requirements are followed.
* Travel and lead teams on site visits as required for projects.
* Research and become familiar with client requirements including program, guidelines, and standards.
* Perform comprehensive code, life-safety, and product research.
* Lead projects from cradle to grave, starting from initial survey, through design, and through construction.
* Lead the development of design concepts and presentations that clearly express the project goals and concepts.
* Lead production teams in the development of technical details including coordination with engineering disciplines.
* Coordinate work of all disciplines.
* Supervise preparation of project specifications.
* Supervise the review of shop drawings and construction RFIs.
* Help guide and mentor emerging architectural design staff.
* Lead and/or assist with the preparation of proposals responding to RFQ's, RFP's and other solicitations.
Qualifications:
What you will bring to our firm:
* Licensed /Registered Architect in the United States
* Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Master of Architecture Degree
* 5+ years' experience with Aviation Projects
* 15+ years' experience in Architectural Production
* 10+ years' experience in Architectural Project Management
* Effective writer, communicator, detail-oriented designer
* Able to work collaboratively with staff and clients on multiple projects
* In depth knowledge of International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards
* Organized individual with a positive team building spirit with a collaborative one team attitude.
What we prefer you bring:
* Experience with software such as Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Experience with SpecLink platform is a plus
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $165,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
