Senior Accounting Analyst - Capital Strategy & Financial Reporting
St. Luke's is hiring a Senior Accounting Analyst (internally classified as a Finance Analyst 3) to join our Controller Group-a high-impact role at the intersection of financial reporting, capital markets, and strategic planning.
In this role, you'll support debt and investment activities, maintain subsidiary consolidations, structure and execute complex bond offerings, and develop advanced financial models to guide financial decisions. This role is vital in managing complex, labor-intensive capital raises-coordinating across legal, finance, auditors, and external partners to fund strategic projects.

* Lead accounting for complex debt offerings and ensure GAAP compliance
* Drive capital market activity-from bond planning to execution
* Partner on investment strategy and post-issuance compliance
* Own consolidations across subsidiaries, including international and healthcare-related entities (health plans, partners, captives)
* Ensure accurate intercompany reporting and regulatory compliance
* Build financial models and deliver strategic insights to leadership
* Support audits, regulatory filings, and financial reporting packages
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Five (5) years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of GAAP, debt structuring, and capital planning
* Experience with bond offerings or capital markets strongly preferred
* Experience with debt, investment strategy, and bond execution
* Strong background in subsidiary consolidations
* Familiarity with health plans, joint ventures, and captive insurance companies
* Proven ability to manage intercompany transactions and ensure accurate GAAP reporting
* CPA or advanced degree (MBA, MAcc) preferred
Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision, the Finance Analyst 3, develops, interprets and implements highly complex financial/accounting concepts and advanced techniques for financial planning and control.
* Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, operating forecasts and similar complex financial matters.
* Provides expert advisory capability and interpretation on all levels of financial activity.
* Acts as a consultant to management on financial policy, procedure and applications.
* Performs all but the most complex assignments independently.
* Performs difficult and complex work requiring independent judgment and practical application of advanced financial theory.
* Collects, organizes, analyzes and presents data for purposes of evaluation and decision making.
* Provides functional and technical direction to other staff members.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
