Overview: Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Beverage Concentrate Accounting. We operate in a fast-paced, demanding environment and are looking for an experienced professional to contribute to our growth and success. This role is a crucial part of our organization, focusing on general accounting functions in support of the Beverage Concentrate business unit (Bottle Can and Fountain Service Solutions reporting unit), process improvement, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. This position is critical for producing accurate and timely financial information for our Commercial Finance partners, while promoting strong internal controls and efficiencies. This position is a hybrid role based in Frisco, TX, with in-office work from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday. What you will do: * Manage the timely and accurate monthly/quarterly close processes, including result reporting, supporting reporting disclosures, and journal entries. * Ensure the integrity of the BC balance sheet through comprehensive and accurate reconciliations. * Prepare account reconciliations in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. * Streamline processes and procedures, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of material accruals and other assets in the BC segment while maintaining compliance with GAAP. * Act as a liaison by collaborating with the business on projects for the Bottle Can and Fountain Service Solutions reporting units. * Partner with the SOX and internal control team to address any required requests. * Participate actively in key transformation and productivity projects, providing accounting guidance and support as needed. * Engage in key strategic projects, such as system installations/upgrades and acquisitions, offering analysis and support. * Prepare requests for both internal and external auditors. * Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects and other efficiency and productivity initiatives. Key Relationships: * Commercial Finance * Financial Business Services * Business Unit Controllers * External & Internal Audit/SOX * IT Responsibilities: * A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is preferred * 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience * Proficiency with SAP ERP systems, Excel, and reporting tools (MicroStrategy, Tagetik, or PA is a plus) * Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SOX Section 404 * Experience with process improvements/reengineering is strongly preferred * Attention to detail with strong organizational skills * Self-driven and goal-oriented, able to work independently * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with personnel at all levels. * Commitment to following Keurig Dr Pepper policies, procedures, values, and operating principles Qualifications: Keurig Dr Pepper (NASDAQ: KDP) is a leading beverage company in North America, with a portfolio of more than 125 owned, licensed and partner brands and powerful distribution capabilities to provide a beverage for every need, anytime, anywhere.
