				Responsibilities:

* Individual should have a strong understanding of accounting theory. This includes, but not limited to: T
* Thorough knowledge of the P&L and Balance Sheet, as well as the impact of journal entries to all financial statements.
* Individual should have strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
* Individual will be required to guide staff accountants when necessary and in the absence of manager.
* Under moderate supervision, performs full performance professional level accounting work, processes financial transactions, prepares financial records, reports and invoices; and guides management through financial decision making to ensure compliance with fiscal rules and polices in accordance with using grant guidelines, including GAAP, GASB, FASB accounting regulations, and 2 CFR 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance).

Qualifications:

Ability to cover Manager's responsibilities during PTO. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of professionalism. Ability to train and guide staff level accountants.
