Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

OVERVIEW:
Allied Universal is currently seeking a Corporate Security Lead Receptionist to oversee front desk operations that will include answering and responding to incoming calls, greeting and directing staff, processing work orders, monitoring alarms, creating badges, submitting facility requests, reviewing daily safety forms, managing visitors, general administrative duties, and coordination of tasks assigned by the Corporate Services team.
The Corporate Receptionist plays a critical role in the overall security program and in the success of day-to-day operations. As first line of defense, they are tasked with making the first impression with guests, customers, and clients. As an extension of the company, the receptionist reflects a professional demeanor and appearance to optimally highlight our customer's brand. The Corporate Receptionist will provide model customer service as well as favorably resolve conflict through solid communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
* Closely observe persons entering and exiting the office space to protect employees and assets
* Ensure persons entering and exiting the office space correctly sign-in by assigning the appropriate badge and applying the approved compliance codes
* Account for all temporary/visitor badges by immediately logging their distribution, auditing their use, and submitting a monthly inventory
* Mitigate unwanted intruders and see that visitors are escorted at all times
* Monitor visible and audible alarms
* Submit and process facility related work orders and service tickets through automated platforms such as Service Now.
* Serves as Facility liaison between Corporate Services and Local Site Leadership.
* Ensure all doors are shut and in optimal condition
* Submit a daily activity report outlining critical events, office needs, and relevant updates to the leadership team, provide essential input for documentation, bridging communication, and understanding day-to-day job functions, report safety/security related incidents to the Global Security Operations Center and its leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma (or equivalent)
* Three (3) - four (4) years of prior receptionist and/or Human Resources or related experience
* Proven excellent customer service skills and ability to be flexible, a team player and interface professionally with all levels of internal and external customers
* Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills required; ability to accurately maintain and organize large volumes of paperwork
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization while functioning as a team player
* Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products, Internet and websites required; prior experience using access control, video management, and service ticket related automated systems a strong plus
