Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:
* Provide daily supervision and guidance to department staff
* Support operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives
* Manage scheduling and coordinate staffing concerns to ensure guest satisfaction
* Enforce internal control policies and procedures
* Enforce laws related to underage gambling and alcohol consumption
* Maintain safety and inspection reports for the property
* Conduct regular inspections of security posts
* Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
* Report guest and team member concerns to management
* Ensure team members adhere to uniform and grooming standards
* Collaborate with regulatory, fire/rescue, and law enforcement agencies
* Ensure compliance with all safety policies and report hazards promptly
* Support departmental budget compliance and cost control
* Promote and uphold superior customer service standards; address service issues as they arise
* Ensure regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues
* Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* High School Diploma or GED required
* 1-2 years of experience in casino security, military, or law enforcement; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Certified Field Training Officer (FTO) preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and security operating systems
* Valid Nevada driver's license with a clean driving record
* Possession of a valid CCW permit
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
* Must qualify for all licensing and permit requirements as mandated by federal, state, and local regulations
* Valid Alcohol Awareness Card required
* Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
* Certified in First Aid
* Valid Nevada Concealed Carry Firearm Permit (CCW)
* Valid Nevada Driver's License required
* Current three-year driving record (Statement of Driving History) must be provided and maintained
