Responsibilities:
* Provide security in entertainment venues including but not limited to, Boogie Nights by maintaining low visibility, handling problem situations, watching for safety hazards, and providing assistance to medical personnel.
* Provide security escorts for monetary transfers.
* Oversee patron entry and exiting of venue: provide crowd control, check I.D.s, and check for items not allowed in venue.
* Provide assistance to customers: give directions, etc. Provide special assistance to disabled patrons as necessary.
* Resolve conflicts between patrons in a quiet decisive manner.
* Provide training to new officers and serve as a field training officer as needed.
* Write detailed reports as required for incidents involving law violations, regulatory violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure.
* Testify in court.
* Present and provide enforcement on the floor.
* Occasionally, strenuous physical activity is required.
* Provide positive communication and use customer service training skills with every patron and co-worker.
* Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
* Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
Qualifications:
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Previous experience in a guest service-related field required. Six (6) months of related experience and/or training preferred.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License and operate company vehicles as needed.
* Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving, mediation, and organizational skills required.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
* Ability to identify and quickly respond to potential problems and conflicts and defend self and others in combative situations.
* Must have the ability to run on level surfaces as well as up and down stairs.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Must have strong computer skills and be fully competent in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to write clear, accurate, and concise reports.
* Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
* Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with guests and team members at all levels of the organization.
* Must have the ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.
* Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
* Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
* Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
* Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
* Employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
* The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
