Responsibilities:

 As a Security Professional - Unarmed Defense Patrols in Annapolis Junction, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more . 

 As an unarmed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your role supports a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and responding to situations as needed. Pay Rate: $25.83 / Hour

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
* Monitor the location for any security-related concerns and report findings according to established protocols.
* Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
* Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

* Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
* Armed designation is required for this role.
* A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
* Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
