Responsibilities: As a Security Professional - Telecom Site - Morning Shift in West Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 05:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 05:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: * Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites * Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education * Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams * Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service * Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. * Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity. * Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to company and client protocols. * Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to a tech, media, and telecom environment. * Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site. What We're Looking For: * Availability across various days and shifts * Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments * A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company * Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: * Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. * Must be at least 21 years of age. * A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only. * CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
