As a Security Professional - Tech Screener in Ruskin, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure environment for everyone onsite. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible. You will also play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and communicating clearly with visitors and employees. What You'll Do:
* Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
* Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
* Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
* Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
* Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
* Screen individuals entering the location by verifying identification and/or credentials according to site-specific procedures.
* Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by answering questions and assisting with directions or information as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
* Document and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activity observed during the shift.
* Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate concerns or issues as they arise.
* Support emergency response activities by following instructions and assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures.

* Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
* A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
* Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
* A Guard Card or license is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
