Responsibilities: As a Security Professional - Retail Site Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more . As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires driving as part of your responsibilities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:30 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site. * Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings. * Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. * At least one year of security-related experience is required. * California Guard Card is preferred. * Experience in customer service is preferred. * Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
