As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a food and beverage production environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 08:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 08:00 PM What You'll Do: * Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites * Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education * Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams * Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service * Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially in food and beverage production settings. * Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location. * Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors as needed. * Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies. What We're Looking For: * Availability across various days and shifts * Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments * A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company * Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: * A valid Guard Card or license is preferred for this position. * North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. * Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
