Responsibilities: As a Security Professional - - Manufacturing Site Patrol - Full Time in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more . As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: * Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites * Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education * Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams * Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service * Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: * Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required. * Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and site-specific procedures. * Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity. * Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and client requirements. * Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns in accordance with site protocols. What We're Looking For: * Availability across various days and shifts * Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments * A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company * Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: * Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree. * Access control and badge experience is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or more years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
