Responsibilities:

 As a Security Professional - Hospital Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. 

 As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication and customer service skills contribute to a positive experience for everyone onsite. You will play a key role in supporting hospital operations and responding to situations as needed, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

* Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
* Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
* Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
* Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
* Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations when needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
* Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
* Assist with access control measures, including monitoring entrances and exits, checking identification, and granting access to authorized individuals in accordance with healthcare location policies.
* Support Allied Universal's commitment to maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors at the location.
* Participate in emergency preparedness drills and respond to alarms or requests for assistance as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

* Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
* Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof of completion as required by the client.
* Applicants must be willing and able to receive required vaccines as mandated by the hospital client.
* Applicants must be able to work in hospital environments, including morgue areas, as required by the client.
* Applicants must be able to safely restrain individuals in accordance with hospital protocols as required by the client.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
