Responsibilities:

 As a Security Professional - - Healthcare Institution Patrol - Full Time  in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more . 

 As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to inquiries and assisting with access needs. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary.  What You'll Do: 

*  Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites 
*  Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education 
*  Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams 
*  Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service 
*  Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise 

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
* Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and identify any unusual activity.
* Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific procedures.
* Collaborate with facility staff and visitors to address questions or concerns related to access control and security-related matters.
* Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations, assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
* CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
* Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
