Responsibilities:

 As a Security Professional - Government Center Patrol - Full Time in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . 

 As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated government locations to help maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. In this unarmed role, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible throughout the property to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to any situations as they arise. Exceptional customer service and clear communication are key, as you will be interacting with a diverse group of people on a daily basis. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary.  What You'll Do: 

*  Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites 
*  Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education 
*  Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams 
*  Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service 
*  Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise 

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
* Monitor for security-related concerns and report any irregularities according to site procedures.
* Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and/or incidents within the government facility.
* Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding security-related matters as needed.
* Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
