Responsibilities:
As a Security Professional - Front Desk - Multiple Shifts in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.
As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees at the assigned location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to manage visitor logs and access control, all while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and thrive in a dynamic environment. What You'll Do:
* Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
* Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
* Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
* Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
* Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
* Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
* Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and assist with visitor management as required.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
* Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

* Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
