Responsibilities:

 As a Security Professional - Distribution Site in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more . 

 As an Access Control Officer in a retail or mall environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere for visitors and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the location, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This post may require driving as part of your duties. Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to clients by following access control procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and monitor for security-related incidents.
* Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas.
* Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
* Assist with emergency response activities according to established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must be issued in the state where the job is located.
* Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
* Alarm panel experience is preferred.
* NC Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
* Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
