Responsibilities: As a Correctional Security Professional, you will serve and safeguard Limestone Correctional Facility located in Limestone County, Harvest, Alabama. As an Allied Universal Security Professional working in a government environment, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents and contributing to a secure atmosphere for all who enter the location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling designated areas, remaining highly visible to help discourage unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and a professional presence. This post requires driving, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. Security Professionals - Corrections Site Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour We offer attractive Pay Options! DailyPay, Weekly Pay No Physical Contact with Inmates! All Shifts and Days of the Week Available! Valid driver's license required What You'll Do: * Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites * Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education * Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams * Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service * Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: * Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. * Provide customer service by assisting visitors and staff with security-related inquiries and directions in accordance with site-specific policies. * Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents or emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any unusual conditions. * Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns as required by site protocols. * Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed during critical situations. * Maintain a professional presence while representing Allied Universal at the location. What We're Looking For: * Availability across various days and shifts * Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments * A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company * Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: * Customer service experience is preferred. * A valid driver's license is required for driving positions in the job state only. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
