Responsibilities: As a Security Professional - Campus Patrol in Suffern, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.44 - $22.44 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:45 AM - 03:15 PMTue07:45 AM - 03:15 PMWed07:45 AM - 03:15 PMThur07:45 AM - 03:15 PMFri07:45 AM - 03:15 PM Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to individuals at the education location by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any security-related incidents. * Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access. * Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity according to site protocols. * Support staff, students, and visitors by providing information and assistance as needed. Minimum Requirements: * New York Security Professional Guard Card required. * Minimum of 5 years of security experience required. * Valid Law Enforcement Officer License required. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
