Responsibilities: As a Security Professional - Armed Site - Full Time in Newark, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more . As an armed professional in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $30.90 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location. * Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring for unusual behavior. * Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to site protocols. * Collaborate with staff and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters within the healthcare environment. Minimum Requirements: * Must have completed the Taser Conducted Electrical Weapon User Course or be willing to complete this training post hire. * Must successfully complete Firearms Annual Inspection or be willing to complete this training post hire. * Must acknowledge and comply with Firearms Acknowledgement requirements. * Must successfully complete Firearms Annual Requalification Training or be willing to complete this training post hire. * Must possess a valid California Armed Security Professional License. * Must have completed training or possess experience with the use of handcuffs, pepper spray, sidearm, baton, and taser in armed roles. * Must have an Armed Designation as required by the role. * Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
