Responsibilities: As a Security Professional - Armed Retail in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more . As a Patrolarmed Officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $42.95 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 AM - 07:00 PMTue10:00 AM - 07:00 PMWed10:00 AM - 07:00 PMThur10:00 AM - 07:00 PMFri10:00 AM - 07:00 PM Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or potential security-related incidents. * Assist in helping to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors through visible presence and attentive observation. * Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to site protocols. * Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement when appropriate to address incidents or emergencies. * Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers, employees, and visitors in a retail environment. Minimum Requirements: * Must possess a valid California Armed Security Professional License * Must have at least 1 year of verifiable security experience. * Must have Armed Designation credentials as required by state or local regulations. * Must possess and be able to carry an approved sidearm while on duty. * Must possess and be able to carry handcuffs while on duty. * Must possess and be able to carry pepper spray while on duty. * Must possess and be able to carry a baton while on duty. * Must acknowledge and comply with all firearms policies and procedures. * Must complete annual firearms requalification training; this requirement can be completed post hire. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
