Responsibilities:

 As a Security Professional - Armed Residential Patrols in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and providing peace of mind to residents and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the community, maintaining a strong and approachable presence, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed and driving position, requiring you to be attentive and ready to respond while operating a vehicle throughout the property. You will interact with residents and guests, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication in every situation. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Friday (3pm-11pm) 

                        Saturday- Sunday (10pm-6am)

                        Monday- Tuesday (11pm-7am)  

 What You'll Do: 

*  Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites 
*  Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education 
*  Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams 
*  Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service 
*  Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise 

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
* Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disturbances within the location.
* Communicate clearly with residents, guests, and property management, providing information and assistance as needed.
* Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in reports according to Allied Universal guidelines.
* Follow all site-specific procedures for access control, visitor management, and emergency situations.
* Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any maintenance or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
* Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local laws.
* Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
