Responsibilities:

 As a Security Professional - Access Control in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more . 

 As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage production environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors. You will interact with individuals at entry points, provide clear communication, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to clients by following access control procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and monitor for security-related incidents.
* Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas within the food and beverage production environment.
* Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
* Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as required during incidents or drills.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
* Must possess a valid TSA-issued TWIC card.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
* Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
